Heart & Vascular Center – Avery, formerly Grandfather Specialty Clinic, provides cardiology services to patients in and around Avery County. The clinic is located on the second floor of the Sloop Medical Office Plaza. From the second floor hallway landing, turn left down the hall and the clinic is the last door on the right.

Cardiology Care: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm

The Heart and Vascular Center provides patients with routine, periodic check-ups with a cardiologist. In addition, Cardiac Device Rhythm Management will be provided, check-ups for device (pacemakers, etc.) patients and general patient care and education.
