The Marchese Birthing Center inside Watauga Medical Center has received The NC Maternity Center Breastfeeding-Friendly Designation (NC MCBFD) for taking steps to promote, protect and support breastfeeding in their organization.
Obstetrics/Midwifery services are available in Boone and Linville. Gynecology services are available in Boone, Blowing Rock, and Linville. Dr. Jack Coiner and Dr. Kacy Stille offer gynecologic surgery options including hysterectomy, robotic-assisted gynecologic surgery, pelvic organ prolapse repair, laparoscopic procedures, permanent sterilization, and more.
